Survey
For mapping of Human Resource availability required for skilling and upgradation for major Renewable energy projects including 13 GW RE Project at Pang Changthang Leh.
It is for the first time that a green project to the magnitude of 13 GW in addition to many other RE projects is being taken up in the Union Territory of Ladakh. Therefore, in order to avail maximum possible benefits to the region, it is imperative to quantify and measure the available local manpower resources which can be further taken up for skilling and making them employable under various roles in this mega project.
Therefore, this portal has been developed to carry out the skill mapping of the youth in Ladakh.
About Us

Who We Are?
Ladakh Power Development Department
The Union Territory of Ladakh has immense power potential in the Solar and wind sector with an estimated potential of 35 GW in Solar Energy, the wind potential is yet under study.
A 13 GE solar wind hybrid project in addition to many other RE projects has been envisaged in the Pang Area by the MNRE and MOP GoI. The Solar Energy Coprpotation of India (SECI) Ltd. is the MNRE agency for preparing the DPR for the project along with NTPC, NHPC, ONGC, PGCIL and REC agencies for other RE projects. Identification of land for the project along with stakeholder consultation from the local communities of the region has taken place at various platforms.
The Green Corridor project for the project i.e. HVDC line has been approved by the GoI.
